Can I discharge student loans when I file personal bankruptcy in Pennsylvania?

Unfortunately not.  student loans will almost always survive a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing.  If your student loans are your primary source of financial burden, you may want to think twice before filing for bankruptcy.

That said, you may still want to consider discussing your case with a lawyer.  If you have a good reason why your student loans should be discharged, you could hire a lawyer to argue the case for you.
